About

This is an auxilary page for the Tilting at Windmills site. If you’re curious and have come to see about me, you’re almost surely a fellow reader with a wonderful blog and an exponentially growing library. I wish I could offer you more here, especially because I get such good stuff from all of you, but I haven’t yet tried a blog as a regular endeavor.

So, I live in Colorado, along the Front Range of the Rockies. I love reading your various “Current Reading” lists, so I’ll tell you what I have tucked in my nightstand and open on my desk:  The Pilgrim’s Progress, Woman, Self-Consuming Artifacts and Never Let Me Go (thank you, Dorothy). I just finished the Jamestown Archeological Assessment (an NPS publication) and Thomas A. Edison and His Kinetographic Motion Pictures as well as The Book Shop.

As of tomorrow, I’ll officially start Don Quixote. I’m scheduled for a long trip in July, so I will be aiming to finish the First Part by the end of June along with other readers going about 50 pages a week. I’ll reconvene at some point in August after I’ve settled back in at home. At least for now, the latest I’ll want to lag behind in my completion of the Second Part is mid-October.

 On to La Mancha…
